ABA Apprentice

About the Role

At Behavioral Innovations, we built our ABA Apprentice program for individuals who are almost ready to take the BCBA exam. Our program provides a bridge between grad school and independent practice, where you'll learn from experienced BCBAs, apply your skills in real clinical settings, and follow a study plan tailored to your needs.

What Makes Our Apprentice Program Different

Your success is personal to us - every apprentice gets a tailored BCBA exam study plan designed around how you learn best. You'll work directly with experienced BCBAs, shadow advanced cases, and refine your clinical judgment before taking on your own caseload. Our team provides structured mentorship and support, allowing you to focus on growing your skillset as a BCBA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with indirect supervision tasks for a mini-caseload of learners
• Conduct therapy with clients on assigned BCBAs' respective caseloads
• Support Board Certified Behavior Analysts and provide staff and caregiver training
• Assist BCBA with parent communication and analyze client data
• Research literature related to client programs
• Oversee implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others
• Complete Monthly Mock Exams
• Follow a tailored BCBA Readiness Plan

Requirements

• Within 6 months of completing a BACB verified Masters/Post Graduate coursework sequence
• Active RBT certification
• At least 60% of BACB supervision requirements completed
• Reliable transportation

Compensation

Compensation varies by location: TX & OK: $25/hour, VA, MD, & CO: $28.50/hour, NC: $27/hour
