AB Initio ETL Developer
About the role
Ab Initio ETL Developer – 6+ months contract, 100% Remote (Chicago, IL). Hands‑on experience in Ab Initio ETL projects and solution design/development, including GDE, Plans, EME, m‑hub and DQE. Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with SQL and Unix shell scripting. Excellent grasp of all Ab Initio components (GDE, PSETS, PDL Programming, Meta Programming, etc.) and understanding of Ab‑Initio parallelism techniques. Proficient/expert in Ab Initio ETL & Database technologies, able to share expertise with the team to meet project requirements. Experienced in end‑to‑end DW/BI implementation, especially data warehouse and mart development, with full SDLC lifecycle knowledge. Works proactively and independently, articulates issues/challenges timely to mitigate delivery risks, provides technical analysis and problem‑solving during delivery, prepares for code and test case reviews, ensures code meets requirements, follows quality, standards and version‑control processes. Possesses excellent analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
