Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of overall IT experience
- At least 5+ years of hands-on Ab Initio development
- 3+ years of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience
- 2+ years of BigQuery experience (required, non-negotiable)
- Strong expertise with SQL and ETL processes
- Experience with PySpark and Python programming
- Familiarity with Teradata
- 4+ years working in Agile environments and with JIRA
- Experience interacting with technical stakeholders
- Exposure to enterprise-level projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and test new data pipelines using Ab Initio
- Implement ETL/ELT processes for data engineering tasks
- Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries (Teradata & BigQuery)
- Develop and manage large-scale data ingestion into BigQuery
- Monitor and optimize GCP resources for data processing and storage
- Optimize cloud-based data workloads
Preferred Experience
- Java programming experience
- Background in banking or financial technology sectors (Deposits, Payments, Cards domain, etc.)
