Ab Initio Developer

About the role

Our client, a leading organization in the data management and technology sector, is seeking a dedicated Ab Initio Developer to join their dynamic team. As an Ab Initio Developer, you will be part of the Data Engineering Department supporting the Data Integration and Modernization teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and enhance existing ETL applications and data workflows.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely incident resolution.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using Ab Initio, PySpark, and Python.
• Lead migration efforts of ETL jobs from legacy platforms to modern data processing frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio, PySpark, Python, and Oracle Database.
• Proven ability to support and maintain enterprise-scale data processing applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
