A WV Facility Seeks a Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist

About the role

CompHealth is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a locums assignment leveraging their national network of facilities. The position involves a broad scope of IR procedures with supervision responsibilities.

Schedule

• Monday – Sunday with call and weekend call coverage
• Approximately 6 patients per day

Responsibilities

• Supervision of APPs and residents
• Perform extensive IR procedures including:
  • Biliary, nephrostomy, TIPS, Y-90
  • Embolization, TACE, aortic placement, thrombolysis
  • Biopsies: bone, thyroid, lung, liver, renal
  • Venous access, PICC, IVC filter placement and retrieval
• Lumbar puncture with myelogram and arthrograms (preferred)

Requirements

• Board certification/eligibility in Interventional Radiology
• Demonstrated proficiency in all required procedures listed above
• Experience supervising advanced practice providers and residents
• Active, unrestricted medical license (state(s) as required by assignment)
