A/V & IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, support, and maintain audio/video IT equipment during recording sessions or live events
• Collaborate with presenters, producers, directors, and other team members to achieve desired sound\\video
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio, video and IT equipment

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of sound dynamics and acoustics
• Audio\\video production experience in various audio\\video technologies and software (Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Adobe and Camtasia experience a plus)
• Hands on, helpdesk experience within the Windows environment
• Experience with virtual conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Skype, GoTo meetings, Webex and assisting with the hosting of meetings
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot both A/V and PC related technical issues
• The ability to work with senior management supporting events and cope with a fast changing environment
• The ability to work as a team or independently
• The ability to prepare documentation, knowledge transfer, train staff, presenters, and technical staff etc.
• The ability to document processes and associated materials and support knowledge transfer
