A TN Facility Is Looking for a Locum Tenens Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the role

Inpatient obstetrics position managing low‑risk and high‑risk pregnancies, including vaginal, C‑section, breech, and multiple births deliveries.

Responsibilities

• See 2‑3 patients per shift
• Handle 3‑4 phone consults per 24 hours
• Manage low‑ and high‑risk pregnancies
• Perform vaginal, C‑section, breech, and multiple births deliveries
• Interpret fetal heart rate (FHR) and perform OB ultrasound (preferred)
• Maintain beeper availability with a 20‑minute response time
• Enter assignment details and time in the online portal

Requirements

• Ability to respond to beeper calls within 20 minutes
• Experience managing inpatient obstetric cases
• Comfort with vaginal, C‑section, breech, and multiple births deliveries

Skills

• FHR interpretation
• OB ultrasound (preferred)
