A Psychiatrist Is Needed for Locums Help in NC

About the role

Inpatient adult psychiatry assignment with consults as needed. Average census of 12‑14 patients, split with an APP. Full support staff on site, with an ACP working alongside the locum.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient adult psychiatry care, including consults when required.
• Supervise experienced APPs and DO medical students.
• Handle backup call only (6 pm – 8 am); not primary call.
• Provide coverage until a permanent placement is found.
• Manage assignment details and time entry via the online portal.
