A Pennsylvania Facility Is Looking for a Locums Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician/Perinatologist

About the role

Provide obstetric care in outpatient (8 am‑5 pm) and inpatient (6:45 am‑5:30 pm) settings, manage high‑risk patients requiring MFM consultation, perform broad procedural skills including C‑sections and amniocentesis, handle admissions, maintain hospital privileges, and be available for weekend beeper call/backup coverage. Expect to see 8‑15 patients per shift, 6 patients per 24‑hour call, and handle 1‑5 phone consults per 24‑hour period.

Responsibilities

• See 8‑15 patients per shift (outpatient/inpatient)
• Manage 6 patients per 24‑hour call
• Handle 1‑5 phone consults per 24‑hour period
• Provide care for high‑risk obstetrical patients requiring MFM consultation
• Perform procedural skills such as C‑sections, amniocentesis, and related obstetric procedures
• Handle patient admissions
• Maintain required hospital privileges
• Provide weekend beeper call/backup coverage
