About the role
We are seeking an A&P Quality Inspector to work at a leading organization in Pembroke Pines, FL on a temp to hire basis.
Responsibilities
- Performing inspections on helicopters or helicopter parts during modification, installation, or overhaul to determine airworthiness, safety, and compliance with approved data and company standards.
- Reviewing work order resolutions for compliance with FAA regulations and established company policies.
- Ensuring continuity of inspection during personnel, shift, or assignment changes.
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing parts for condition and serviceability.
- Verifying adequacy and completion of work order squawk resolutions and preliminary inspections.
- Conducting logbook research and entries.
- Performing in-process and final inspections and approving articles or aircraft for return to service.
- Carrying out other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid A&P License (IA preferred).
- Strong knowledge of FAA 14 CFR, Part 145, Part 135, and Part 91 regulations.
- Experienced with inspection methods, techniques, practices, aides, equipment, and tools used to determine airworthiness.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Proficient with computers and MS Office applications.
- Understand, read, write, and speak English fluently.
- At least 18 months of practical experience in helicopter maintenance with applicable articles.
- Reliable commute to North Perry Airport, FL.
Qualifications
This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You Hold a valid A&P License (IA preferred). Possess strong knowledge of FAA 14 CFR, Part 145, Part 135, and Part 91 regulations. Are experienced with inspection methods, techniques, practices, aides, equipment, and tools used to determine airworthiness. Have clear and professional communication skills. Are proficient with computers and MS Office applications. Can understand, read, write, and speak English fluently. Have at least 18 months of practical experience in helicopter maintenance with applicable articles. Can reliably commute to North Perry Airport, FL.
