About the role
Bell Maintenance Team – Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Starting base of $37.10/hr.
Highly qualified candidates with extensive industry-specific experience may be eligible for a higher starting wage.
Responsibilities
- Serve as part of a “one stop shop” for a variety of commercial rotorcraft services.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and engines in accordance with FAA 145 requirements.
- Perform major sheet metal repairs and fabricate sheet metal and composite parts when needed.
- Add additional tasks such as installing kits and assisting with fly-offs.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with all instructions, regulatory requirements, and company policies, and properly document all work performed.
Requirements
- FAA A&P Certificate.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- 4 years of experience with commercial turbine helicopter maintenance.
- Experience in a part 145 environment is preferred.
- Technical expertise and basic computer skills.
- Ability to prioritize work, and to exercise strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, strong sense of responsibly, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to successfully collaborate and coordinate with others with attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions closely with good organization skills.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Able to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
