Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with or without supervision in performing aircraft and engine inspections, repair and maintenance in accordance with all regulations to insure airworthiness.
- Repair aircraft and related equipment in accordance with the manufactures and company directives.
- Assure that maintenance discrepancies corrected are properly recorded in the aircraft maintenance records.
- Repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures, such as fuselage, rotors, and functional components including rigging, controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
- Read and interpret manufacturers and FAR 145 maintenance manuals, 145 repair station requirements, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, adjusting fluid levels, and checking brakes.
- Washing/cleaning of aircraft as may be required.
Qualifications
- Maintain a current and valid Airframe and Power plant Certificate from the FAA.
- Maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
