Volunteer Opportunity Details Volunteer Opportunity ID: 4965 Description of Duties: Want to give back to your community? A & O: Support Services for Older Adults' Connect Program is looking for volunteers to provide social companionship to older adults living in the Winnipeg community in person. A & O currently requires volunteers who enjoy conversation and have strong conversational and interpersonal skills. If you can commit a minimum of one hour a week in the morning, afternoon, or evening, you can make a difference for an older adult living in our community. Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+ Time Commitment: Daytime , Evening , Weekend , Flexible Hours Volunteers are free to complete visits during mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends depending on the schedules of both the volunteer and the older adult. We try to match volunteers with a client in their area to minimize travel time.
