A Locums Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Is Needed in Tennessee

About the role

Inpatient facility caring for hospitalized adolescent patients ages 13‑17. Supported by two APRN/PMHNP on the unit. Attending physician responsible for up to 44 patients, managing 14‑18 cases independently. Responsibilities include writing restrictive intervention orders and admit/discharge orders. Typical schedule: 8 hours/day, Monday‑Friday with one night on‑call per week. Daily workload: 16‑18 total encounters (4‑6 new patients, 12‑16 follow‑up visits).

Requirements

• At least 12 months of experience as a physician in the specialty.
