A Facility in WI Is Searching for a Locum Tenens Obstetrics Gynecologist
About the role
Outpatient and inpatient practice setting managing both routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, forceps, c-section) and performing surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures. Expect to see 20‑25 clinic patients per shift and 1‑6 inpatients, with call rotation and a 30‑minute pager response time. The facility averages approximately 700 deliveries per year.
Responsibilities
- Respond to office and hotel pager calls within 30 minutes.
- Participate in call rotation.
- Manage outpatient clinic patient load (20‑25 per shift).
- Care for inpatient obstetric patients (1‑6 per shift).
- Conduct routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, forceps, cesarean).
- Perform surgical gynecologic procedures, both open and laparoscopic.
Requirements
- NRP certification.
- ACLS certification.
