Responsibilities

• Call only coverage – beeper call with 25‑minute response time required
• Average per 24 hrs: 7 phone consults, 10 patients seen, 4 admissions
• Rounding: both inpatient and outpatient
• Nephrology patients – dialysis and post‑renal transplant populations
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal

Requirements

• Dialysis management required: hemodialysis, CRRT, and peritoneal dialysis
• Renal biopsy and dialysis catheter placement required
• Hospital privileges required
