A&D Account Executive - Simulation Software
Role Description & Responsibilities
The SIMULIA Account Executive will identify and close new business opportunities to increase the SIMULIA footprint within assigned accounts. This role will sell value and strategic vision to secure customer commitment on a long-term business transformation.
- Communicate SIMULIA value directly by taking a bottom-up and/or top-down approach
- Generate growth in sales priority areas defined by sales initiatives as determined by SIMULIA Brand / Industries
- Extend sales reach to SIMULIA industry domains and segments other than those in primary scope by involving company ecosystem as appropriate
- Create and develop high value and trusted relationships with Customer’s Champions and facilitate access to Customer’s Executives
- Transform Marketing and Sales leads into opportunities
- Create and manage the appropriate pipeline to reach business objectives
- Perform end-to-end sales engagements compliant with the 3DS processes to achieve revenue plan
- Manage the negotiation with the customer while complying with all 3DS engagement processes, government and local regulations, company policies and ethical standards for doing business
- Provide an accurate forecast for rolling quarters and fiscal year
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred) or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in technical software sales (simulation highly preferred)
- Experience managing large enterprise accounts
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense
- Effective Relationship Building Skills
- Effective Presentation Skills
- Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to Travel up to 20%
- U.S. Citizenship Required
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $220000 and $250000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
