Qualifications

• Existing Overhead Distribution experience as a Journeyman lineman
• Readiness to grow into a greater role
• Valid Class A CDL (highly preferred)
• Familiarity with induced voltage and grounding procedures
• Knowledge of pole/tower climbing and bucket truck operation
• Ability to properly install and remove PPE and cover up
• Understanding of dead ending and sagging operations for all conductors
• Proficiency in energized line work
• Ability to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit
• Capable of leading crew in assembly and erection of structures to all heights
• Ability to properly install and remove mechanical jumpers
• Knowledge to properly inspect rubber goods, cover and PPE
• Ability to effectively lead a Job Task Safety Analysis meeting or tailgate briefing
• Ability to safely install and remove PPE and cover up
• Physical requirements: Sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl, lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights and/or confined spaces, work outside in various locations, work overtime, work in inclement weather, work in extreme weather conditions, work with animals and insects, work with outdoor hazards
