A/B-Level Automotive Technician | $27-$50/HR | M-F | 2605

About the role

Automotive Ingenuity is seeking an experienced A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician for a Monday-Friday position paying $27-$50/hour DOE plus production incentives. The shop works on a diverse vehicle mix with a heavier focus on European makes and provides professional diagnostic equipment, paid training opportunities, and ASE/testing support. This is an opportunity for an experienced technician to put strong diagnostic and repair skills to work while continuing to develop technically.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform general automotive maintenance and repair
• Complete thorough multi-point and digital vehicle inspections
• Identify vehicle safety concerns and needed maintenance
• Document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations clearly and accurately
• Use modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns
• Service a diverse mix of European, Domestic, Asian, and specialty vehicles
• Work efficiently with Service Advisors and the rest of the repair team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred
• A-Level or strong B-Level automotive technician capabilities
• Strong general automotive repair skills
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to perform thorough multi-point inspections and identify vehicle needs
• Comfortable servicing multiple makes and models
• Dependable and committed to continued technical development
• Preferred qualifications include ASE certifications, state inspection/emissions licensing, European vehicle experience, factory or dealership training, DVI experience, Tekmetric experience, and familiarity with Snap-on, Launch, Autel, or factory diagnostic software. DVI experience is not required; training on the shop’s digital inspection process is available.

Pay

$27-$50/hour DOE + Production Bonus (Hybrid: Hourly + Production Incentives)
