Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines
• Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes
• Show basic familiarity with truck operations
• Properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily
• Know the proper placement of all finished product
• Apply basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-overs
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-overs
• Understand the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
• Follow established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures

Work Environment

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
