9th grade Girls Basketball Coach

About the role

Work with the head girls basketball coach to run the high school girls basketball program and direct the 9th grade basketball program. Coach student athletes in skill development, strategies, and techniques to prepare them for competition. Set daily practice plans with clear goals and objectives to help student athletes reach their potential. Emphasize teaching and learning to prepare players for basketball and life skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily practice plans for 9th grade athletes.
• Teach basketball skills, strategies, and techniques.
• Set clear goals and vision for student athlete development.
• Prepare players for both athletic competition and life skills.
• Obtain MSHSL certification by completing required online modules on topics including the philosophy of school-based sports.

Pay

$4,319–$4,406.
