92F Petroleum Supply Specialist
About the role
Fuel is one of the most vital components of the Army National Guard. As a Petroleum Supply Specialist, you’ll ensure Soldiers never run out by handling, storing, and shipping petroleum-based products such as oil, fuel, and compressed gas. You will supervise and manage the reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum products, operate specialized pumping equipment to load trucks, ships, trains, and aircraft, select and submit samples for testing, perform petroleum and water accounting activities, test samples for contamination, repair specialized equipment, and maintain facility safety procedures and storage guidelines. As your skills increase, you may take on management duties including supervising and training other Soldiers, assigning duties, spot checking work quality, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

- Issue and dispense bulk fuels and water from storage and distribution facilities to using units
- Operate airplane refueling systems and equipment
- Plan and schedule petroleum transport

After 10 weeks of Basic Training, you will attend 11 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), which includes a combination of hands-on and classroom training.

Requirements
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must meet citizenship requirements
