About the role
The Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer plays a crucial role in supporting Cavalry and Infantry operations by maintaining and operating the vehicle. This position ensures the vehicle is functioning optimally, allowing Soldiers to effectively command the battlefield.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in the suspension and steering systems.
- Perform maintenance and direct support tasks on fire extinguisher and suppression systems.
- Replace body panels, fenders, power packs, weapons systems, and radiators.
- Repair and replace vehicular mounted armament and associated fire control systems.
Qualifications
- Interest in auto mechanics and the industrial arts.
- Preference for solving mechanical problems.
Skills
- Engine repair and tune-up.
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.

Requirements
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
