About the role
Since the Army National Guard utilizes a variety of electronic systems, power is crucial for operational success. As a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer, you will ensure that the necessary power is available to support all aspects of military activities.
Job Duties
- Perform maintenance on tactical utility, precise power-generation sets, internal combustion engines, and associated equipment
- Support military operations day or night by performing preventive maintenance checks on generation equipment
- Replace voltage regulators, governors, or circuit cards as needed
- Adjust frequencies and voltages using technical publications to enhance equipment efficiency

Requirements
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
