8th Grade Softball Coach

About the role

This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact by developing student-athletes, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and fostering a successful middle school softball program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a coaching plan that aligns with Little Falls Community School District's educational goals and the Missouri High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) rules and regulations.
• Provide instruction and guidance to 8th grade softball players, focusing on skills development, strategy, and sportsmanship.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines set forth by the MHSAA and the Little Falls Community School District.
• Collaborate with other coaches and administrators to maintain a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Attend all required meetings and training sessions related to coaching and school policies.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field.
• At least two years of successful coaching experience at the middle school level.
• Experience working with young athletes and developing their skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for practices and games.

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $2,642.00, in accordance with the EMLF Master Agreement.

Schedule

Work schedule will be determined based on the needs of the Little Falls Community School District and the MHSAA.
