About the role
This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact by developing student-athletes, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and fostering a successful middle school softball program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a coaching plan that aligns with Little Falls Community School District's educational goals and the Missouri High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) rules and regulations.
- Provide instruction and guidance to 8th grade softball players, focusing on skills development, strategy, and sportsmanship.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines set forth by the MHSAA and the Little Falls Community School District.
- Collaborate with other coaches and administrators to maintain a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions related to coaching and school policies.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field.
- At least two years of successful coaching experience at the middle school level.
- Experience working with young athletes and developing their skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for practices and games.

Pay
The starting rate of pay for this position is $2,642.00, in accordance with the EMLF Master Agreement.
Schedule
Work schedule will be determined based on the needs of the Little Falls Community School District and the MHSAA.
