8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a coaching strategy that promotes athletic development and character building among students.
• Manage team practices and games, ensuring adherence to league rules and regulations.
• Work closely with other coaches and administrators to maintain a positive school culture and promote student well-being.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student athletes' academic and personal growth.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in physical education or a related field.
• At least three years of successful coaching experience at the middle school level.
• Experience working with girls and a passion for basketball.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for game nights and practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and community members.
• Knowledge of current coaching techniques and trends in girls basketball.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $2,972.00, in accordance with the EMLF Master Agreement.

Schedule

Positions may vary in schedule depending on the needs of the school district.
