8th Grade Assistant Football Coach
About the role
The Phoenix-Talent School District #4 is seeking applications for the following Extra Duty positions: 8th Grade Assistant Football Coach Talent Middle School.
Responsibilities
- Coach football athletes around fundamental skills, drills and practices of football.
- Maintain inventory of equipment, uniforms, paperwork.
- Serve as a positive role model on and off the fields and ensure safety of all athletes.
- Serve as supervisor on the field, in the locker room, and on bus trips.
- Maintain equipment, accurate records, supplies and inventory.
Requirements
- Successful Middle School coaching experience.
- Adheres to sports philosophy of Phoenix-Talent Schools.
- Model high standard of behavior.
- Meet/ability to meet coaching certification requirements: FA/CPR, Concussion Training, Anabolic Steroid, blood-borne pathogen, etc.
- Experience coaching football preferred.
- Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate practices and matches.
- Preference may be given to those candidates who hold a valid Oregon teaching license.
- Preference may be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
