8th Grade Assistant Football Coach

About the role

The Phoenix-Talent School District #4 is seeking applications for the following Extra Duty positions: 8th Grade Assistant Football Coach Talent Middle School.

Responsibilities

• Coach football athletes around fundamental skills, drills and practices of football.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, uniforms, paperwork.
• Serve as a positive role model on and off the fields and ensure safety of all athletes.
• Serve as supervisor on the field, in the locker room, and on bus trips.
• Maintain equipment, accurate records, supplies and inventory.

Requirements

• Successful Middle School coaching experience.
• Adheres to sports philosophy of Phoenix-Talent Schools.
• Model high standard of behavior.
• Meet/ability to meet coaching certification requirements: FA/CPR, Concussion Training, Anabolic Steroid, blood-borne pathogen, etc.
• Experience coaching football preferred.
• Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate practices and matches.
• Preference may be given to those candidates who hold a valid Oregon teaching license.
• Preference may be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
