8th Grade Assistant Boys Basketball Coach

About the role

The 8th Grade Assistant Boys Basketball Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of basketball coaching, including game preparation, player development, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing practice sessions
• Work closely with the head coach to develop and implement training programs
• Attend games and tournaments to provide support and feedback
• Communicate regularly with players and parents regarding team progress and expectations

Requirements

• A strong passion for basketball and a commitment to youth development
• Experience as a basketball coach at the middle school level or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Knowledge of current coaching techniques and strategies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Background check required
