About the role

Cosmo Prof is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. This role supports the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and direct associates to maximize sales and customer loyalty, manage merchandise, and ensure compliance with brand standards.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop a team to achieve business objectives, manage team performance, and foster a positive workplace culture.

• 30% Operations: Ensure efficient store operations, manage inventory, handle payroll, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and comply with safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team of associates

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
