About the role
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction and store profitability. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee store operations including inventory management, staff scheduling, and merchandise presentation.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Manage employee relations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, and work closely with the store manager on problem resolution.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance store performance and customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems.

Pay
