Position Level: Level 3 – Senior
Location: Chantilly, VA
Core Hours: 9am to 4pm
This position requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph.
About the Role
The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers, and data engineers. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer’s mission by helping to modernize and implement industry standards while ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams for integrations and tasking delivery
- Maintain legacy applications and modernize them
- Write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Leverage Amazon Web Services
- Create RESTful APIs
- Develop using Java and Angular (TypeScript) with Spring Boot
- Design and utilize custom ETL methodology
- Demonstrate strong communication, design, and documentation skills
- Manage workflow and time effectively
- Perform unit testing, peer code review, and automated testing techniques like Selenium (create, edit, maintain, execute)
- Work within Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Methodically think through technical challenges in a collaborative team environment to provide technically sound solutions
Requirements
- BS degree and 4-10 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in multiple programming languages: Java, Spring Boot, Angular (TypeScript), and Cloud/Amazon Web Services
- Full Stack Development experience
- Experience developing solutions to satisfy customer requirements and specifications
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Selenium, and Rundeck
- Experience working in Command Line (RH Linux)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Identity and Accessibility development practices
- Experience developing custom ETL
- Experience utilizing ETL frameworks (NiFi, Camel, Airflow, etc.)
- Experience with automation methodologies like Selenium
- Experience with containerization and modular development
- Familiarity with UI/UX Design
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification

Pay
Up to $200,000.00 per year
