812054 Systems Engineer $245,000.00

Position requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph. This role is for a Subject Matter Expert with a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 16 years of overall IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure vCenter server
• Work with ESXi cluster servers
• Implement NSX, SRM, and/or vSAN in disaster recovery or failover operational environments
• Design and architect complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning
• Monitor the health of virtual machines operating in various data centers
• Virtualize enterprise applications
• Integrate automation/operations across IT infrastructure
• Leverage strong networking expertise
• Support cloud migration initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in programming, computer science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 16+ years of overall IT experience (SME level)
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture and design
• Strong technical knowledge of VMware products: vSphere, vCenter, and/or Aria Suite
• Experience with VMware 7
• Experience with AWS
• Understanding of network and storage architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)
