7th Grade Volleyball Coach

About the role
The 7th Grade Volleyball Coach will be responsible for leading the volleyball program at Berg Middle School during the 2026-2027 school year. The position starts in August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement volleyball training programs for 7th grade students
- Manage team logistics including scheduling practices and games
- Collaborate with other coaches and administrators to ensure student success
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
Requirements
- A valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners
- A copy of the following Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate and Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate
- Coaching transcripts
Qualifications
- Experience coaching volleyball at the middle school level
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well with students, parents, and staff
Skills
- Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent organizational skills

Pay
The salary for this position is $2,934.
