About the role

The 7th Assistant Boys Basketball position at Mickelson Middle School is an extra-duty/seasonal role. This position supports the head coach in organizing practices, managing team logistics, and ensuring the smooth operation of the basketball program during the season.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and executing practices
• Manage team equipment and supplies
• Coordinate with other school staff to ensure team transportation needs are met
• Support the head coach in recruiting and retaining players

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with sports management or coaching preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background check
