7th and 8th Grade Teacher

About the role

Foster curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in 7th and 8th grade students.

Responsibilities

• Create dynamic lesson plans aligned with educational standards
• Build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Absorb and adapt to new technologies and instructional methods
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and school culture
• Participate in school events and activities
• Complete additional duties in collaboration with the team to deliver an exceptional student experience
• Maintain accurate, complete, legible, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation
• Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in education or related field, Teacher certification preferred
• Experience: Teaching elementary grades, Strong classroom management and communication skills, Excellent communication and technology skills

Qualifications

• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card by the time of hire.
