Position Overview

As an Overnight Nurse at Regal Care Quincy, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and health of our residents throughout the night. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts. RegalCare at Quincy is a short and long term care facility located in Quincy, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess residents' health, including vital signs and any changes in condition.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Document nursing assessments, treatments, and interventions accurately in resident charts.
• Communicate effectively with family members and the next shift's nursing staff.
• Provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
• Collaborate with the medical team to address residents' needs and concerns.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN or LPN licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
• Previous nursing experience, particularly in long-term care or skilled nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours.
• Compassionate and dedicated to providing excellent care.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively.
