The Antioch Unified School District (AUSD) is seeking candidates for a multiple subject teaching credential position in General Subjects.

About the role

This role is responsible for providing instruction in multiple subjects to students in grades K-8, fostering a learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with district curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive lesson plans and assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and guardians.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• A valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
• At least three years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Pass the California Subject Examination for Teachers (CSET) in multiple subjects.
