Responsibilities

• Teach core subjects in a variety of settings including 5th-8th grade, 6th-8th Spanish, Art, Drama/Theater, Health/P.E., Music, P.E./STEM, Title 1 Reading, World Language, 1st/2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4/5th Grade Math/Social Studies, 4/5th Grade Science/Social Studies, 4th Grade, and 3rd Grade.
• Implement curriculum aligned with state standards and best practices.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and support student learning.
• Maintain classroom management and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development activities and stay updated on educational trends and innovations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in education or related field.
• Valid teaching license in Ohio.
• Experience teaching in a similar setting preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
