About the Role

As an Inbound Expert at Target, you'll be part of a team that ensures a consistent and enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. This role involves supporting guest service, maintaining product availability, and executing efficient operations in General Merchandise (GM) areas. You'll also contribute to food safety and fulfillment processes, working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, assist with inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Stock, organize, and maintain merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring product availability in GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment (if certified) for unloading freight and moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with regulations.
• Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick-up (OPU), and Drive Up (DU), ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Execute accurate and efficient sorting operations, including inbound and outbound processes.
• Work safely, adhering to all safety policies and reporting hazards.
• Assist with other duties as needed to support business operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Capability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 44 pounds, involving repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments, including Drive-Up and carryout duties.
• Ability to remain mobile and stand for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Pay

The Starting Hourly Rate is $16.00 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $16.00 USD - $24.00 USD per hour.
