About the role

As a Sales Associate at Cosmoprof, you’ll create a memorable shopping experience for customers, guiding them through their beauty journey with expertise in hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails. We provide comprehensive training—you bring the passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend complementary products and inform customers about promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Educate customers about and enroll them in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and report inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Apply product knowledge from training to support customer service.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow direction and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional irritant chemicals or fumes.
