The Physician Assistant plays a crucial role in healthcare, often stepping in to cover gaps when needed. This position offers the opportunity to serve as a commissioned Medical Corps Officer in the Army National Guard, providing vital support to Soldiers and their families.

Requirements

• Meet the prescribed medical and moral standards for appointment as a commissioned Officer
• Be a United States citizen
• Complete an accredited qualifying degree program
• Be 21 years of age (some advanced practice medical professionals may join up to age 58)
• Able to obtain a secret security clearance

Qualifications

• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
