About the role
Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our established and growing team in Cape Girardeau, MO. Our Anesthesia team consists of 5 physicians and 20 CRNAs, plus an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care. Mercy Southeast is licensed for 245 beds and serves a population of 675,000 in a five-state area.
Case mix & practice setting
- Diverse set of cases: Ortho (with blocks), Labor and Delivery, Low Volume Healthy Peds (ENT), Spines, Rare Heads, Basic Hearts/CT, Cath Lab, Gyn, Urology, and Other Ancillary Services
- 3 Cardiac ORs and 1 dedicated Cardiac Anesthesiologist with Cardiac CRNAs 24/7
- Call rotation 1:5
- Medical direction with max 1:4
- No second call duties
- Overnight call from home
- Work exclusively at one hospital
- No trauma call
- CRNA takes all intubations and epidurals; physician called in for OR cases and C-Sections
Compensation & benefits
