About the role

Responsible for operation, setup, and adjustment of production equipment. Assists with debugging equipment and tooling alongside setups, tool room, and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and adjust production equipment as required.
• Monitor equipment and notify supervision or setups of malfunctions that cannot be corrected.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Service equipment (e.g., add grease, lubricant, and coolant).
• Approve inspection reports.
• Meet established production standards.
• Complete required paperwork, including production, productivity, inspection, downtime, and SPC charts.
• Train new employees in the position or area as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and obstruction-free work area.
• Observe safety rules and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Ensure quality and safety of own work and comply with company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma (required).
• High school diploma with approximately six months of work experience (preferred).
• Required to purchase basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to approximately fifty pounds; pushing or pulling may require greater exertion.
