About the role

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, cash handling, and store cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Manage and train staff to meet store goals and objectives.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Perform stock take and ensure accurate records are maintained.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of retail experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Skills

  • Customer service orientation.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
