Position Summary
Retail salespeople at Lids are the heart of the brand. They are committed to fostering a passion for sporting and fashion goods by serving customers and engaging in store maintenance. They must provide exceptional customer experiences, maintain product presentations, and be knowledgeable about products and services.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate Revenue
- Meet or exceed company goals in individual statistics.
- Engage in store maintenance according to current visual guidelines.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code.
- Control Expenses
- Participate in managing store inventory, including processing shipments and resetting merchandise.
- Aid in accurate product counts in a consistent and timely manner.
- Support and adhere to all LIDS Retail policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Job Required Knowledge And Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.

Physical Demands and Requirements
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
- Constantly stand on shift.
- Frequently walk on shift.
- Frequently hear and communicate verbally with customers, employees, and other personnel.
- Frequently visually observe the store and read written or digital information.
- Frequently operate a computer and mobile Point-of-Sale system, as well as maneuver relative software programs.
