6.0 hr. Special Education Paraprofessional

Position Summary

Provide assistance to both students and teachers in implementing lesson plans.

Work on an individual basis with students when necessary.

Provide support within the educational setting.

SALARY RANGE

Union contract hourly range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $17.01 - $21.01

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year or four-year degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, AND REGISTRATIONS

(Preferred but not required)

• Para Highly Qualified status according to current statute and union contract
• Crisis prevention intervention (CPI) training
