Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with Illinois Learning Standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student success.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of students.
• Audit student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback to students and families.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, technology, and educational resources to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to support student achievement.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and classroom management procedures.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, faculty meetings, and other school-related responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Appropriate endorsement for elementary or middle grade instruction.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and helping all students reach their full potential.
