5th Grade DEEP Full Time Elementary Teacher

About the role

The following teaching position is available for the 2026-2027 school year: 5th Grade DEEP Full Time Elementary Teacher. GIFTED AND TALENTED ENDORSMENT PREFERRED. ENDORSEMENT MUST BE OBTAINED BY THE END OF THE 3RD YEAR IN THIS POSITION. License Required: Elementary Endorsement Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach 5th grade curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Implement DEEP strategies to support gifted and talented students.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance student learning experiences.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills.

Requirements

• Valid Utah teaching license with an Elementary endorsement.
• Experience working with gifted and talented students preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• At least one year of teaching experience at the elementary level.

Skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
