5213 - Store Manager

About the role

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring strategy, including recruitment, turnover, and leaves of absence.
• Aid in onboarding new team members and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Lead and monitor training strategies, including non-Keyholder training, process changes, and promotions.
• Address employee concerns and collaborate with internal support for appropriate action.
• Drive team engagement through recognition and performance management.
• Collaborate across store channels and districts using company communication tools.
• Execute Lids selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage operations, including scheduling, payroll, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure store technology and equipment are maintained and functional.
• Maintain store facilities, supplies, and services, including responding to service requests and managing inventory audits.
• Manage cash handling, including opening and closing the till and following counterfeit protection practices.
• Execute optimal layout and visual merchandising strategies, including managing VM and store actions.
• Execute special pricing and promotional adjustments during operating hours.

Requirements

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Proven supervisory skills, with capacity to deliver training material and assess retention.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.
• Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs, and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Proven managerial skills.
