Responsibilities

• Crush sales goals by delivering exceptional customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting current offers to drive revenue.
• Become a piercing expert through comprehensive training: conduct piercings, educate customers on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain an inviting store with organized inventory, visually appealing displays, and easy-to-navigate layouts.
• Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and fostering a positive, high-energy atmosphere.
• Represent Claire’s by staying updated on fashion and social media trends, helping customers find their perfect style, and suggesting products to boost sales.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Encourage customers to share their purchases on social media, creating shareable moments and viral potential.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially for young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• Completion of some high school and at least one year of retail experience, ideally with leadership or sales responsibilities.
• Physical ability to stand for scheduled shifts and lift 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
• Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while assisting customers and stocking merchandise.
• Passion for helping customers express themselves and providing excellent service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Solid grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently at times.
• Passion for fashion and staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during your shift.

Pay

Compensation range: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
